2008 Jaguar XJ
Having been a Jaguar enthusiast for more than 65 years I was trying to find a low mileage classic Jaguar to enjoy while I could still drive.
I found such a car in Japan. I had no idea how to go about having it thoroughly inspected to ensure it was genuinely as reported. Even less how to securely purchase the vehicle. Have it removed from the Japanese register. Complete export documentation and shipping. Arrange for import to NZ or the procedure to have it registered, WOF etc ready to legally drive here.
Here the wonderful team at Autoport.nz took over. They set out an easily understood breakdown of the procedure and costs from initial inspection, purchase, shipping and costs in NZ ready for me to drive away.
I paid a 10% deposit and left everything to them.
It was a completely seamless operation from the time that I asked them to buy the car until they told me it was ready for me to drive away.
It could not have been a better experience. The car was 'as new' from the showroom. The final account exactly as expected.
Within an hour of taking delivery of the beautiful Jaguar, with no obligation to do so, they also helped me make a no risk sale of my previous vehicle at a very satisfactory price.
I thoroughly recommend the team at Autoport.nz to anyone considering importing a vehicle from overseas.
They updated me regularly on progress, sent photos pre purchase and prior to shipping, and again on arrival.

I found the service provided by Autoport NZ effortless, timely and efficient. After deciding on the make and model of car I wanted to purchase, I browsed their website and found a late model, low mileage Toyota Roomy at a reasonable price. It would have been impossible to find a car of equivalent quality or price in any car yard in NZ, I know because I tried. Whilst purchasing a car sight unseen may seem risky, the vehicle exceeded my expectations. It arrived sooner than expected in immaculate condition with WOF, Rego, mechanical warranty and full tank of petrol. Excellent value for money. The Toyota Roomy has many features a more expensive car has, and I highly recommend this make, model of car to others. I also highly recommend the seamless process provided by Autoport NZ of importing a vehicle of your behalf.

2007 Mazda Axela
The thought of importing a car was something my wife and I have thought about in the past, but it fell into the too hard basket and we had no idea where to start, that was until a friend introduced me to Autoport. Autoport had 1000’s of cars to choose from and we found a late model car with much lower km’s and price than we could find from any dealer here in NZ and they took care of absolutely everything. We were a little apprehensive during the 6 week wait for the car to arrive but we needn’t have been as Autoport kept us up to date every step of the way and when the car arrived it exceeded our expectations and had been valeted to a near new look. Outstanding Team at Autoport NZ. If you are looking to purchase from Japan, particularly if you are looking for something special, these guys are the only ones to deal with.
