Although I was skeptical at first to deal with Autoport, I was pleasantly surprised when they actually found a car that not only matched my requirements, but also exceeded the same - I got more than what I had asked for and at the price I wanted to pay. It is easy to deal with Autoport; their communication is frequent and without lengthy delays in between, especially when dealing with Ryan. The thought of importing a car was something my wife and I have thought about in the past, but it fell into the too hard basket and we had no idea where to start, that was until a friend introduced me to Autoport. Autoport had 1000’s of cars to choose from and we found a late model car with much lower km’s and price than we could find from any dealer here in NZ and they took care of absolutely everything. We were a little apprehensive during the 6 week wait for the car to arrive but we needn’t have been as Autoport kept us up to date every step of the way and when the car arrived it exceeded our expectations and had been valeted to a near new look. Having been a Jaguar enthusiast for more than 65 years I was trying to find a low mileage classic Jaguar to enjoy while I could still drive. I found such a car in Japan. I had no idea how to go about having it thoroughly inspected to ensure it was genuinely as reported. Even less how to securely purchase the vehicle. Have it removed from the Japanese register. Complete export documentation and shipping. Arrange for import to NZ or the procedure to have it registered, WOF etc ready to legally drive here. Here the wonderful team at Autoport.nz took over. Totally recommend Autoport, picked up my Subaru Outback September 2023 and it is such a smooth beautiful reliable car. Would definitely go this way again in the future, straight from Japan, no NZ owners. Very lucky to have purchased a well looked after vehicle.
