Having been a Jaguar enthusiast for more than 65 years I was trying to find a low mileage classic Jaguar to enjoy while I could still drive. I found such a car in Japan. I had no idea how to go about having it thoroughly inspected to ensure it was genuinely as reported. Even less how to securely purchase the vehicle. Have it removed from the Japanese register. We weren’t sure about buying a near new car from the UK as we didn’t like the idea of sending a lot of cash overseas and we didn’t know about claiming VAT. Autoport managed all that. The car had just 500 miles on the clock, was highly spec’d and the savings were very, very significant! Stop reading - call them up and have a chat. Communication was faultless and we were in good hands throughout. The car's been stripped down, inspected for hidden damage, and arrived on our driveway without a scratch. First of its model registered in NZ - no dramas. Old man almost cracked a smile. Now if only he'd drive it instead of looking at it all day.
