Although I was skeptical at first to deal with Autoport, I was pleasantly surprised when they actually found a car that not only matched my requirements, but also exceeded the same - I got more than what I had asked for and at the price I wanted to pay. From my first viewing on the internet through to pre-purchase inspections, delivery to the port in Japan, transportation and arrival in NZ to final certification and ultimate delivery to my home. Having been a Jaguar enthusiast for more than 65 years I was trying to find a low mileage classic Jaguar to enjoy while I could still drive. I found such a car in Japan. I had no idea how to go about having it thoroughly inspected to ensure it was genuinely as reported. Even less how to securely purchase the vehicle. Have it removed from the Japanese register. Complete export documentation and shipping. Arrange for import to NZ or the procedure to have it registered, WOF etc ready to legally drive here. Here the wonderful team at Autoport.nz took over. Within an hour of taking delivery of the beautiful Jaguar, with no obligation to do so, they also helped me make a no risk sale of my previous vehicle at a very satisfactory price.
