I've now imported two cars via Autoport, both PHEVs, and I am happy to report that on both occasions I found the process to be seamless. Each time their team took care of everything from pre-purchase inspection in Japan to compliance and vinning in NZ, providing email updates along the way - the only hard part was waiting for my vehicles to arrive! The only paperwork on my end was applying to NZTA for the Clean Car Rebate. So if you're seeking a specific model or trim level not available here, Autoport is the place I found mine, and I'll recommend them to anyone!

We weren’t sure about buying a near new car from the UK as we didn’t like the idea of sending a lot of cash overseas and we didn’t know about claiming VAT. Autoport managed all that. The experience was seamless and well-organised by the team at Autoport. From my first viewing on the internet through to pre-purchase inspections, delivery to the port in Japan, transportation and arrival in NZ to final certification and ultimate delivery to my home. Couldn't have been more efficient.
I was looking for a classy European car and settled on a Porsche Panamera. The Hybrid model swung the deal to ease my environmental guilt. The purchase process through Autoport was very easy once the decision was made. Like a good cheese it took a while to arrive but considering the logistics in these uncertain (frightening) times it was well worth it. The car was well presented and met all expectations.
