Very happy with my new car the process and communication. Price was on par with cars in NZ but I wasn't here for price alone it was for a GTR which there was not many in NZ to choose from but alot of options on Autoport. Thank you.

Having been a Jaguar enthusiast for more than 65 years I was trying to find a low mileage classic Jaguar to enjoy while I could still drive. I found such a car in Japan. I had no idea how to go about having it thoroughly inspected to ensure it was genuinely as reported. Even less how to securely purchase the vehicle. Have it removed from the Japanese register. Complete export documentation and shipping. Arrange for import to NZ or the procedure to have it registered, WOF etc ready to legally drive here. Here the wonderful team at Autoport.nz took over. They set out an easily understood breakdown of the procedure and costs from initial inspection, purchase, shipping and costs in NZ ready for me to drive away. I paid a 10% deposit and left everything to them. It was a completely seamless operation from the time that I asked them to buy the car until they told me it was ready for me to drive away. Within an hour of taking delivery of the beautiful Jaguar, with no obligation to do so, they also helped me make a no risk sale of my previous vehicle at a very satisfactory price. They updated me regularly on progress, sent photos pre purchase and prior to shipping, and again on arrival. I wouldn't think of going further than the Autoport team if I wanted another car. Although I was skeptical at first to deal with Autoport, I was pleasantly surprised when they actually found a car that not only matched my requirements, but also exceeded the same - I got more than what I had asked for and at the price I wanted to pay.
