I've now imported two cars via Autoport, both PHEVs, and I am happy to report that on both occasions I found the process to be seamless. Each time their team took care of everything from pre-purchase inspection in Japan to compliance and vinning in NZ, providing email updates along the way - the only hard part was waiting for my vehicles to arrive! The only paperwork on my end was applying to NZTA for the Clean Car Rebate. I was looking for a classy European car and settled on a Porsche Panamera. The Hybrid model swung the deal to ease my environmental guilt. The purchase process through Autoport was very easy once the decision was made. Like a good cheese it took a while to arrive but considering the logistics in these uncertain (frightening) times it was well worth it. The car was well presented and met all expectations. We weren’t sure about buying a near new car from the UK as we didn’t like the idea of sending a lot of cash overseas and we didn’t know about claiming VAT. Autoport managed all that. The car had just 500 miles on the clock, was highly spec’d and the savings were very, very significant! Totally comfortable and totally trustworthy service and I like we got the right car direct from the source but dealt with a local NZ company. Very happy thanks for the great deal.
