I had never purchased a vehicle on-line before, so I was apprehensive about how it all worked. I need not have worried, Autoport was obviously experienced as they answered all my questions reassuringly and allayed my fears by explaining the process clearly to me. They informed me of progress as it happened, the clearance, the loading, the transporting, even the whereabouts of the ship and its ports of call. Whatever paper work was required of them, they informed me, asked me in a timely fashion for my documents. I never felt under pressure and was impressed with their efficiency. I was even met at the airport and taken to their depot where again, all the paperwork was completed, and the car was mine! But it didn't stop there. I can't read Japanese. However, my queries about how something worked on the dashboard were patiently explained. The car is going well! I would not hesitate to recommend this company, and method of purchasing, to anyone. And I am really enjoying the car.

I had a great experience buying through Autoport. After I had selected a vehicle in Japan the Autoport team swung into gear and their Japanese agent checked the vehicle out at the car lot. I wanted to make sure it was accident free, the mileage was as indicated and the car was in good condition for its age. After making sure all was Ok I entered into a purchase agreement and the deposit was paid. From that point on the purchase was without any hassles. When the car arrived at the Japanese departure dock it was checked out by Autoport's accredited agents to meet NZ Government entry requirements. It passed with flying colours and was then on the boat to NZ. On arrival in NZ all the compliance details were handled professionally by Autoport and then the balance of the purchase was paid. After registration was completed the car was ready for pickup. At all stages of the purchase I was kept fully informed by Autoport's friendly staff, Daniel and Carlene.
